Role Description:
- Help students learn and understand new concepts through course material (slides, readings, etc.).
- Prepare and post lesson content.
- May lead group initiatives.
Tutor Qualifications:
- Have completed Grade 9, including math and science.
- Identify as a woman/non-binary.
- Have previous experience and proficient knowledge of course content.
Required Skills:
- Proficient skills in technology and making slides
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic, encouraging, and engaging
Key Responsibilities:
- Showing commitment to Girls in Med (must commit to a full course length)
- Having no unexcused absences
- Keeping in contact with the team and checking messages on a regular basis
- Uploading required material and managing Google Classrooms
- Preparing for lessons beforehand (games, quizzes, slides, etc.)
